LA Kings are the Stanley Cup Champions

Brown becomes 2nd US born captain to win Cup
The Los Angeles Kings defeated the New Jersey Devils 6-1 last night, winning their first ever Stanley Cup. They beat the Devils 4-2 in the series clinching the Cup for the first time in their 45 year history and they did it on their home ice in front of a packed house. Ex Flyers Mike Richards, Jeff Carter and Simon Gagne hoisted the Cup for the first time in their careers, while Justin Williams lifted it for the second time (Carolina 2006).
